Booster Club meeting tomorrow night at 7:00. Please plan to come. We will be discussing the Christmas Shoppe that is happening this week. We need volunteers to help during the school day at the elementary school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hope to see you all at the meeting.

Last competition of the year this Saturday at Reeds Springs! Call time is 5:00 am. Our performance is at 9:45 am. Hope you can come support the kids for their last competition!

Thank you to all the parents that helped out yesterday at Webb Stock. We appreciate all the help you gave during the show and putting all the stuff away during the rain. We couldn't have done it without you!

We are very proud our of Touch of Class Marching Band. They performed their first competition at Webb Stock. They did a fantastic job and overall got 4th in their class! The drumline got second! Way to go guys! Way to start the season!

Just a reminder: At the beginning of the year, we asked that each band student pay $25. This amount is to pay for them to eat at each of the competitions. (The Booster club orders and provides lunches.) If your child has not yet paid, please have them bring that in before Saturday, or they will need to bring their own lunch, or money to eat at the concessions stand.

I would like to shout out a huge THANK YOU to all who helped organize, set up, tear down, and run the functions this weekend for the Music Dept. Also a thank you to all those who donated for our garage sale. It was a big success!

Hey everybody!! Just a reminder, we are holding our garage sale on Saturday morning, August 31 from 6:30 to noon. We would appreciate any volunteers to help with setup, selling and tear down. It will be held in the high school parking lot. Thanks in advance for helping!!

Booster Club Car Wash

The kids did a wonderful job washing cars today! We are very proud of Austin, Anthony, MJ, Ariah, Meredith, Jordan, Mena, Melissa, Olivia, Nick and Chad!!

This Saturday, July 13th, the JR/SR Music Department & Booster Club will be holding a CAR WASH!!! O'Reilly's Auto Parts Store in Mt. Vernon 8am-??? Please Come out and support our kids. Thanks a bunch!

Just a reminder, we have a Booster Club meeting on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 7:00. We will be discussing the upcoming garage sale and other things getting ready for the upcoming school year.

Also, July 4th @ Hammonds Field, still need about 8 workers to make around $1000...and July 13th we are having a car wash @ O'reilly's in Mt. Vernon.

If anyone has some free time on July 4th, we are helping with an Amburg Event. We need 15 workers (7th grade and up to adults) to help man some of the bounce houses and other activities. If you can help, please contact Angie Hough (417-379-5461). We appreciate any and all help!

Donkey Basketball Game!

Hey All! Here are some details about the upcoming Donkey Basketball Game the Miller Music Booster Club is hosting:

Date: Monday, April 8, 2013
Time: 7:00 pm
Ticket prices: $6 pre-sale $8 at the door. Kids 6 and under are free.
We will also be offering donkey rides at intermission for $1.
We will also have a concession's stand.

Your kids will be bringing home a Pre-event Sales Sheet next week. Please help them sell the tickets so we can fill the gym!

We would love to have as much help as we can for the concessions.

If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer to help, please contact a Booster Club officer.

Good Luck to all the Miller High School Music students that are performing tomorrow (band) and Saturday (choir) in the District Solo and Ensemble Contests!

Booster Club Meeting 2/4/13

Notes from the meeting tonight:

February 15th - Taco Dinner before the Basketball Homecoming Game 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Donations will be accepted. We are asking that all Music Students please bring a baked good/dessert. We are also asking for volunteers to help with serving that night.

We are also doing Silent Auction baskets Homecoming night. We are taking any donations that you would like to include in them. We are aiming at having 2 nice sized baskets.

April 8th - Donkey Basketball Game - More details to follow

April 28th - Springfield Cardinals Baseball Game - Choir kids may be singing.
